Unfortunately google will only allow me 5 stars. I have been going to the meat hub since it first opened and honestly cannot fault any meat I have purchased from here. I called the meat hub on the 27th of January when all of our rural fire crews were out cleaning and assisting residents in the Gold Coast to ask if I could order a bulk lot of sausages as my fire station was also open as a community hub for locals to come to to have a shower and do their washing? I explained to the owner what we were doing and he as of today has donated 170kg of sausages to keep our crews fed and also the local community. Absolutely community minded and could not fault them at all and the specials are amazing.

Visited today specifically for the salmon on special for one of my little boys, and ended up buying half the shop 🫣🙈😂 very fresh and appealing displays completely full of quality products and great prices. Also whilst filling my arms of sausages, a lovely staff member came to me and she offered me a basket 🧺 😀 they had a food truck in the carpark offering some burgers 🍔, but most importantly everything you need meat and seafood is located here, also seasoning, cooked BBQ chickens, and other essential items. Ample parking available and definitely recommended if you live anywhere in the Gold Coast 😀 Please feel free to follow me on here and my YouTube channel for more reviews 😀

I was very impressed with the selection. So far we have had the butter chicken ready made meal which was excellent with nice big pieces of chicken and meatballs, needed to add some water for reheating but did not affect the flavour.

Sadly I have noticed the quality of the meat here has gone downhill. We've had some really tough, flavourless, and sinuey steaks and roasts the past few months. Quality goes down as the price increase. I remember the same thing happened with the previous butchery, Pattons. They're good at the start.

We like the meat specials and like the fruit and veg choices however the meat hubs marination on the pork and beef ribs is awful both in quality quantity and taste. It's drenched in this awful red stuff they call marination that stains everything. It also makes it impossible to remove the skin on the back of the ribs. My kitchen looked like someone had been murdered whilst trying to remove it. I went through a roll of paper towels it was a mess. It must be food dye because no staff member knows what it is. Why not sell ribs without that red sludge so we can remove the skin easily and use our own rubs and sauces?? Will never buy the ribs with any marination again. Also there's a stench in your store near the fruit and veges that is over bearing and needs to be addressed.

Great range. Good price. Great establishment. I’ll be back. Ask for what’s fresh as it seems a few things I bought were on the turn. The pre-made meals like pies and meatballs etc are possibly the saltiest and most oily I’ve ever had. Like crazy salty.

This is an incredible local butcher. The staff are amazing, the selection is second to none, I love that its a one stop shop for me with mrna free meat, cut any way you like by the friendly butchers, a wide variety of packaged meats (not necessarily mrna free), lillydale free-range hot chickens, spray free fruit and vegetables, organic eggs, cheese and sauces and meat rubs, many are all natural and taste great! If a business is only as good as its captains, it shows Paul and Lisa own a great ship with amazing crew, with great prices and the whole vibe here is great. Makes a difference to the quality of the food being served if the people serving it are awesome. Much appreciated and keep up the great work guys!

Great place to go for your meat and veggies now. Staff always smiling and polite and friendly. Great prices on meat,tasty as well and looks great and always clean . Highly recommended.
